ABOUT Bella
Bella Long is a photographer and visual artist based in Boulder, Colorado. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art at the University of Colorado Boulder, where her work focuses primarily on photography.
Long began photographing in high school and has continued to develop her practice through personal projects, travel, and academic study. Her work has been exhibited in the Student Photography Exhibition at the University of Colorado Boulder. Drawing inspiration from film, fashion photography, and street photography, she creates images that explore atmosphere, visual storytelling, and the relationship between observation and aesthetic construction. Her work draws inspiration from filmmakers and photographers, including Steven Meisel, Gregory Crewdson, and Petra Collins.
Long's photographic work has been created in locations including New York City, Madrid, and throughout Colorado. She is particularly interested in the ways photography can transform everyday moments through composition, lighting, color, and styling. She expects to graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2027.
